West Memorial MUD Schedules July 28 Public Meeting on Parks, Rates, and Infrastructure Updates

Residents of West Memorial Municipal Utility District (MUD) will have an opportunity to hear and be heard on a range of local issues at the upcoming Board of Directors public meeting, scheduled for Monday, July 28, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the District’s Sewage Treatment Plant, located at 22025 Kingsland Blvd., Katy, Texas 77450.

The agenda includes key community topics such as park improvements, utility rates, district infrastructure, and financial updates. Public comments are welcome at the start of the session, giving residents the opportunity to share questions and concerns directly with the Board.

Highlights of the meeting agenda include:

  • Park Improvements: Discussions will include options for mulch materials and rock enhancements.

  • Community Partnerships: An update from American Legion Post 164 and any necessary facility repairs or improvements.

  • Tax & Financial Updates: Delinquent tax collections, budget amendments, and annual reviews of investment policies.

  • Utility Operations: Consideration of new water and sewer rates, changes in billing vendors, and updates on wastewater treatment plant repairs.

  • Engineering Updates: Addressing walkway repairs, compliance work at Water Well No. 2, and long-term infrastructure needs

Community members are encouraged to attend and engage with local decision-makers. The Board notes that accommodations are available for persons with disabilities who contact the District’s attorney at least three business days in advance.
