Warner Elementary Students Place in National Math Competition
Kristen Eaton’s fourth grade class at Warner Elementary School were nationally recognized in the 15th Annual March “Math” Madness Drive for Five Contest (MX3), a competition in the learning platform Imagine Math. Eaton’s class was one of 20 MX3 MVP winning classes from across the country averaging more than five passed math lessons.
Imagine Math is a supplemental math curriculum designed to provide differentiated and adaptive mathematics instruction.
“They love to complete lessons on Imagine Math,” said Eaton. “I give all the credit to my students.”
Eaton’s students solved more than 12,000 complex math problems throughout March, averaging 57 passed lessons per student.
“We are extremely proud of Ms. Eaton’s students who worked so hard solving complex math problems with Imagine Math this school year,” said Terry Rasmussen, account executive with Imagine Learning. “Being a top-20 classroom out of thousands of eligible classrooms speaks to the dedication to math excellence and teamwork at Warner Elementary.”
The class received at $50 Amazon gift card, and they used it to purchase items for the classroom.
