Tutoring Redefined: The Enrichery Opens Fourth Location in Cypress
The Enrichery, an innovative tutoring company known for delivering comprehensive academic support, standardized test preparation, and college admissions guidance to K-12 students, has opened its doors at their fourth Houston-based location in Cypress at Towne Lake.
Nestled at 10242 Greenhouse Road in Suite 1201, the new center is a testament to the company’s measured and deliberate expansion strategy. Sarah Seitz, a former teacher and the visionary founder and CEO of The Enrichery, emphasizes their mission, "We've taken a very careful approach to our growth. It has always been most important to us to be the best at what we do, not just be the biggest.”
Founded in 2015, the Enrichery offers an encompassing range of services to cater to diverse student needs. These include Academic Coaching, akin to traditional tutoring plus Executive Functioning, Test Prep services for exams such as the ACT, SAT, and ISEE, along with College Admissions counseling.
However, their flagship offering is the Executive Functioning coaching. In every session that takes place at The Enrichery, time is taken to work on these study skills. This carefully curated approach aims at nurturing essential life skills in students, like effective planning and time management, which are applicable in both academic and personal spheres. This unique method focuses on the overall development of a student, rather than purely academic achievements.
Helping students build these skills is an incredibly fulfilling part of the job for many of The Enrichery’s academic coaches. One of the coaches at the Bellaire location, Grace Weng, shares, "I love helping students feel in control of their course load and schedule so that they’re not feeling as stressed and overwhelmed about school as well as helping them build useful long-term skills like planning, time management, and task initiation."
The new Towne Lake location follows The Enrichery's recent opening in Bellaire. Speaking on the company's growth, Seitz observes, "Over the last eight years in business, we've learned how to empower our students with the confidence and independence it takes to succeed, and we feel called to share that with as many families as we can."
