Towne Lake in Cypress Unveils Regional Park Addition to Award-Winning Community
Today, Towne Lake in Cypress announced the latest addition to its award-winning master-planned community: a regional park. This extensive new feature is set to be nestled between the existing Parkside section and The Preserve section of Towne Lake, situated along Greenhouse Road.
Preserve Park at Towne Lake will boast a host of recreational amenities, adding to the extensive outdoor amenities currently available across Towne Lake. This new park will include two lakes, with Cypress Creek running through the center of the park and bridges for pedestrians. It doesn’t just stop at the sights; the park will also feature a fishing dock, an invite to anglers or anyone seeking a serene spot to relax.
Adding to the allure is a mile-long concrete walkway, a perfect route for jogging, or a relaxing stroll to soak in the beauty of the wildflower meadows and stunning lakeside views. Furthermore, the park will potentially provide a link to a Harris County Trail, further enhancing its connectivity. This addition expands the reach of the already impressive 24-mile network of connected recreational trails and pathways crisscrossing Towne Lake.
Towne Lake's accolades are not limited to trails and parks. The community is home to a number of other recreational features. Tennis courts, splash pads, and a slalom ski course provide plenty of options for active residents. Additionally, community boat docks and fishing piers, waterfront walking trails, covered picnic pavilions, and even a community garden are also part of the package. Its 300-acre lake even includes an actual island complete with picnic tables and other structures for resident enjoyment.
Upon completion of construction, Towne Lake, a Caldwell Companies community, will cover 2,400 acres and include 3,000 homes.
