Tompkins High School Applauds 21 National Merit Semifinalists
A group of 21 seniors at Tompkins High School have achieved one of the highest academic distinctions available to high school students — National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist for the class of 2026.
The program, overseen by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC®), selects top scorers on the PSAT/NMSQT who exhibit exceptional promise in academics and leadership.
“These remarkable students embody the hard work and dedication of our Katy ISD students,” said Assistant Superintendent for School Leadership & Support Emily Craig. “This accomplishment reflects their commitment to academic excellence and the unwavering commitment of their families, teachers and school communities.”
