Three CFISD Soccer Teams Earn Area Postseason Victories

The Bridgeland High School girls’ and the Cypress Springs and Cypress Woods high schools boys’ soccer teams won their respective Region II-6A area playoff matches to advance to the region quarterfinal round of the UIL Class 6A playoffs.
Region II-6A girls’ soccer results were as follows:
- Bridgeland defeated Conroe Oak Ridge, 3-1. The Bears advance to the region quarterfinal to play Tomball at 5:30 p.m. on April 1 at Waller High School (31213 Waller Spring Creek Road).
Region II-6A boys’ soccer results were as follows:
- Cypress Springs defeated Conroe, 4-3. The Panthers advance to the region quarterfinal to face The Woodlands at 5:30 p.m. on April 2 at Tomball ISD Stadium (20235 Cypress Rosehill Road).
- Cypress Woods defeated Conroe Grand Oaks, 3-1. The Wildcats advance to the region quarterfinal to meet Conroe College Park at 7:30 p.m. on April 2 at The Woodlands High School (6101 Research Forest Drive).
- Bridgeland ended its season with a 1-0 loss to Klein Collins. The Bears were District 16-6A’s first seed and area finalists.
The Cypress Springs High School boys’ soccer team defeated Conroe, 4-3, in the area round of the UIL Class 6A playoffs. The Panthers advance to the region quarterfinal to face The Woodlands at 5:30 p.m. on April 2 at Tomball ISD Stadium. (Source: CFISD)
Region III-6A girls’ soccer results were as follows:
- Cy-Fair High School ended its season with a 3-0 loss to Katy Seven Lakes. The Bobcats were District 17-6A’s third seed and area finalists.
Region III-6A boys’ soccer results were as follows:
- Cypress Ridge High School ended its season with a 3-2 loss to Katy Jordan. The Rams were District 17-6A’s second seed and area finalists.
- Jersey Village High School ended its season with a 2-0 loss to Katy Cinco Ranch. The Falcons were District 17-6A’s fourth seed and area finalists.
Tickets for Bridgeland, Cypress Springs and Cypress Woods are $5 a piece (adults and students) and are sold online.
