The College of Health Care Professions to Host Grand Opening Reception for New Northwest Houston Campus
The College of Health Care Professions (CHCP) has opened a new Northwest Houston campus to train the next generation of professionals for Houston’s healthcare industry and to foster new, long-term collaborative partnerships between industry, academia and the community. The healthcare industry is rapidly growing, and the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts a 13 percent rise in the number of healthcare occupations by 2031. CHCP will play a direct role in preparing the workforce to fill these positions. This newly renovated 39,000 square foot building offers modern state-of-the-art features to include labs with industry-standard equipment to provide real-life, experiential, medical simulations and activations vital to the training of healthcare professionals.
On Thursday, October 20, 2022, a grand opening event will be held form 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the new campus, located at 12230 Northwest Freeway, Houston, TX 77092. The campus’ grand opening will include immersive tours, entertainment, a ribbon-cutting ceremony and networking opportunities.
