The Angry Elephant Bar and Grill Now Open in Cypress
A politically-themed bar and grill, The Angry Elephant, is now fully operational in the Fairfield area of Cypress. With the completion of a soft launch during the week of October 21, 2024, the new location at 15103 Mason Road in Suite B3 adds to the brand's existing branches in Magnolia, San Antonio, College Station, Bryan, and Frisco.
The Angry Elephant is an establishment created as a watering hole for "gentlemen who can agree or agree to disagree". With a reputation for its liberal cocktails sold at conservative prices, and famously proclaimed as the home of the best hot dog in Texas, it is a unique venue that caters to all, irrespective of political creed.
The venue lives up to its motto "Like Your Politics, Love Your Bar" by offering broadcasts of every political event on their televisions, complete with sound. This includes American debates and elections at all levels of government.

But beyond politics and drink, food is a clear protagonist at The Angry Elephant. The menu is a celebration of American favorites with unique twists. Highlights include The FDR All American Dog, an Eisenburg gourmet beef frankfurter, the Ronald Reagan Burger featuring a half pound Akaushi patty, topped with grilled blackened shrimp, the Populist Philly Cheese Steak sandwich with housemate green chili queso, and an Ahi Tuna Salad, among other dishes.
The Angry Elephant is not only about politics, food, and drinks. The full bar hosts a wide range of cocktails, beers, and wines with live music, sports games watch parties and more, promising a good time for all. The new Cypress location is open from Sunday to Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 AM, and Thursday to Saturday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 AM.
