Texas Buffet Opens in Copperfield Area
After a year-long vacancy, the location that was once home to the Golden Corral, which closed its doors in June 2023, is now the Texas Buffet. Situated at 16308 FM 529, Houston, TX 77095 in the Copperfield area, the new eatery celebrated its soft opening on July 9, 2024.
The Texas Buffet offers a wide-ranging, all-you-can-eat spread that features more than 100 items from various cuisines. Diners can expect to find a selection of fresh sushi and sashimi, as well as unique sushi roll creations.

For those who enjoy Hibachi-style cooking, the Texas Buffet has something to offer as well. The buffet includes steak, rice noodles and vegetables, perfect for those who enjoy a little interactive cooking.
Adding a spin to traditional dishes, they have introduced a Cajun Chinese food section in their buffet. Among the different kinds of seafood, patrons will find a variety of dishes that aim to appeal to everyone in the family.
Texas Buffet will hold a grand opening event on August 9, 2024, according to a social media post by the restaurant.
