Sweet Paris Crêperie & Café Now Open in Bridgeland Central, Serving Crêpes with Heart and Heritage

July 15 2025

Sweet Paris Crêperie & Café has officially opened its doors in Bridgeland Central, bringing a delightful taste of France to Cypress with its signature sweet and savory crêpes, cozy atmosphere, and charming Parisian flair. Located at 20240 Summit Point Crossing, Suite 150, this latest addition to the growing Village Green retail and dining destination is the third Sweet Paris franchise from local owners Mike and Mary Kelton.

Originally launched in Houston’s Rice Village in 2012 by husband-and-wife team Allison and Ivan Chavez, Sweet Paris was born from a globe-trotting love affair with the crêpe—sampled everywhere from Parisian street carts to fine dining restaurants abroad. “After tasting many versions of ‘la crêpe’ around the world… we had to bring home the international staple,” the founders shared. “We first introduced the Sweet Paris experience to Houston over a decade ago, and we have been spreading our love for crêpes ever since.”

Now operating 17 locations across Texas, Florida, Minnesota, and Mexico—with more slated to open in Dallas, Miami, Twin Cities, and Phoenix—Sweet Paris is quickly becoming a national favorite for breakfast, brunch, and beyond.

A Whimsical Culinary Escape—No Passport Needed

Walking into Sweet Paris Bridgeland feels like a vacation in itself. Chic patios, light-filled interiors, and upbeat music set the stage before guests even open a menu. “Sweet Paris aims to usher our guests away from their daily hustle and bustle and transport them to a unique and delectable dining experience, no passport needed,” the founders explained.

On the menu, diners will find an expansive array of internationally inspired crêpes, from the decadently sweet—like the Oreo Cookies n’ Cream and Apple Cinnamon Crème Brûlée—to the boldly savory, such as the Chicken Carbonara, Philly Cheesesteak, and Nordic (smoked salmon with dill sour cream and pickled red onions). There’s also a kid-friendly menu, gourmet waffles, hearty breakfast crêpes like the Houstonian and Le Mexicain, fresh salads, warm paninis, seasonal soups, and even a cocktail bar with frozen mimosas and rosé spritzers like La Vie en Rose and Cannes.

Guests can also sip on specialty lattes, Nutella hot chocolate, and refreshers like raspberry lemonade or Topo Chico. Whether for a casual coffee date or a celebratory family brunch, Sweet Paris offers something to savor at any hour.

A Community-Focused Café with Global Impact

Beyond serving beautiful food in an Instagram-worthy setting, Sweet Paris has a deeper purpose. Through its Eat Here, Feed There initiative, the café contributes a portion of every meal sold to organizations fighting hunger locally and abroad. “With the help of our guests, we also contribute to combat hunger through our Eat Here, Feed There program,” the founders noted.

It’s this mix of community impact, culinary quality, and thoughtful design that keeps guests coming back for both everyday meals and special occasions. “From breakfast to dinner, brunch to late dessert, we strive to serve delicious food with a helping of outstanding hospitality,” said the team. “Our beloved guests choose Sweet Paris for routine get-togethers and special milestones alike.”

A Sweet Addition to the Growing Village Green Scene

Sweet Paris is one of six highly anticipated restaurants and retailers announced for Village Green at Bridgeland Central, a 70-acre mixed-use development by Howard Hughes Holdings Inc. Other exciting additions in Bridgeland Central include Jonathan’s The Rub, Crust Pizza Co., Gelato & Co., Venetian Nail Spa, and Teal Poppy.

The café is now open Sunday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., making it a flexible option for morning cravings or evening indulgence.

For Bridgeland residents and the greater Cypress community, Sweet Paris delivers not just a meal, but a destination—a whimsical blend of French inspiration, local charm, and feel-good dining.
