CenterPoint Energy depends on the assistance of customers to help identify streetlights in need of repair. Part of your annual Homeowners fee pays for your streetlights, whether they work or not.
If you notice a streetlight outage or a streetlight during daylight hours, visit CenterPoint Energy’s website www.centerpointenergy.com/outage to report the issue. You may also call 713-207-2222 to report an outage.
When reporting a streetlight in need of repair, it is important to provide the following:
- Pole / Light number (each light pole should have a 6-digit number on it.)
- Location description
- Streetlight address, city, state and zip
- Problem description
