Stage 1 Water Conservation in the City of Fulshear
July 26 2023
STAGE 1 - WATER CONSERVATION
Due to the extreme heat, lack of rain, and high demand on the Water System, the City of Fulshear has entered STAGE 1 Water Conservation Measures, requesting residents (excluding residents on their own water well system) to conserve water immediately. Please limit all outdoor water use, including lawn/garden watering, window washing, and car washing.
Here are a few tips on how to be good stewards and protect our water supply:
- Water lawns/gardens before 4 AM and after 10 PM. Ensure that water is not running into the street, drain, or ditch.
- Take shorter showers and shut off the water until it’s time to rinse when brushing your teeth or washing your hands.
- Don’t ignore leaky faucets or sprinkler heads; turn off the valve under the sink until you repair the leak.
These actions are extremely important and can help conserve the City’s water supply and alleviate the demand on our system.
This does not affect the Non-Potable water and reforestation areas. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and understanding.
