Spring ISD Trustee McDaniel Inducted Into TASB Leadership Initiative
Spring Independent School District is delighted to announce the selection of Board of Trustees member Natasha McDaniel by the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) for the distinguished 2024 Leadership Texas class.
Among a pool of dedicated professionals, McDaniel was one of the 36 top trustees chosen from over 1,000 Texas school districts.
TASB recognizes individuals for this distinction who consistently demonstrate leadership in their districts, advocating for their local communities and embracing the vast diversity of educational institutions in Texas.
“Being chosen for the Leadership TASB Class of 2024 is not just an honor, but a responsibility,” McDaniel said. “I am enthusiastic about embracing TASB’s mission, which is to inspire trustees like myself to be proactive, visionary leaders. Together, we can promote educational excellence for all children in our Texas public schools. I eagerly anticipate collaborating with fellow trustees from across Texas in this journey.”
The Leadership TASB program is a beacon for school board development. Through a comprehensive year-long curriculum, it challenges experienced board members to elevate their leadership skills, offering them insights into a range of issues, unique networking experiences, and a deeper connection to communities throughout Texas.
