Spring ISD Board of Trustees Approves Staff Loyalty Incentives for 2023-24 School Year
The Spring ISD Board of Trustees on Thursday, June 8 unanimously approved loyalty incentives for all benefits-eligible employees for the 2023-2024 school year.
To be eligible, employees must have a start date of on or before May 12, 2023. The structure of the loyalty incentives will be paid out in one lump sum on the August 10 payroll check as follows:
- $3,000 for classroom teachers with 10+ years of experience*
- $2,500 for classroom teachers with 5-9 years of experience*
- $2,000 for classroom teachers with 0-4 years experience* and all other staff
*Includes 2022-2023 year of service (in order to have a year of service, employee must have worked at least 90 days, according to TRS). Incentives are subject to Federal Income Tax.
“We are happy that we are able to offer these incentives to our staff, and grateful to our Board of Trustees for approval,” said Spring ISD Superintendent Dr. Lupita Hinojosa. “I look forward to working with each and every one of our valuable staff members in the coming year so that we can continue to impact every student in our care.”
The Board of Trustees is set to approve the budget for the 2023-24 school year by the end of June.
