Spring Into Safety Returns to Old Town Spring on March 16

February 26 2024

Prepare to Spring into Safety this March at Old Town Spring! Save the Date for the highly-anticipated annual event - Spring into Safety, taking place on Saturday, March 16, from 10 am to 1 pm. Old Town Spring will come alive with a vibrant community atmosphere, offering a variety of activities for all ages to enjoy.

This year’s Spring into Safety extravaganza presents a unique chance for everyone to interact with our local heroes face-to-face - including firefighters, constables, sheriff's deputies, EMS, and LifeFlight crews. Beyond mere introductions, attendees will have the exciting opportunity to explore the vehicles and helicopters these courageous individuals use daily to protect our community.

For the younger attendees, the event promises an extra dose of excitement! The Spring Fire Department has arranged a thrilling scavenger hunt, blending adventure with education. Each participant will be equipped with a map and a booklet at the Spring Fire Department tent. The goal is to collect stamps from eight different agencies participating in the event to fill the booklet.

This immersive experience will not only entertain and engage the children but also spark their curiosity about our safety forces, offering valuable insights into their vital responsibilities. Furthermore, the first 200 kids to complete their booklets will receive a special safety backpack filled with exciting prizes!

So, mark your calendar, bring your family, and join the Spring into Safety event at Old Town Spring on March 16.
