Dutch Bros Coffee Planning Second Conroe Location on West Davis Street
Conroe residents could soon have another convenient stop for coffee, energy drinks and afternoon pick-me-ups, with a second Dutch Bros Coffee location planned along West Davis Street.
The beverage company is expected to open inside the Crossroads Shopping Center at 1100 West Davis Street in Conroe. The proposed shop would join the existing Dutch Bros at 9778 Texas 242, expanding the brand’s presence into another busy part of the community.
For residents who live, work or shop near downtown Conroe and the West Davis Street corridor, the new location could mean a shorter drive for a morning coffee, a drink on the way to work or a quick stop while running errands.
What Is Planned for the New Conroe Dutch Bros?
Project information describes a renovation of an existing 1,930-square-foot end-cap space at Crossroads Shopping Center. The interior would be converted for quick-service coffee and beverage sales, with both drive-thru and walk-up service planned.
The building and surrounding site already exist, meaning the project is focused on tenant improvements rather than constructing an entirely new building.
Work is currently scheduled to begin Dec. 16, 2026, with an estimated completion date of April 14, 2027. The renovation carries an estimated construction cost of $250,000.
Construction schedules can change, and an official opening date has not yet been announced.
Second Dutch Bros Coffee Location in Conroe
The West Davis Street shop would become the second Dutch Bros Coffee in Conroe, joining the location at 9778 Texas 242 near the Interstate 45 corridor.
That geographic spread could make the brand more accessible to residents on both sides of the city. The Texas 242 shop serves the growing southern Conroe area, while the planned Crossroads Shopping Center location would bring Dutch Bros closer to established neighborhoods, businesses and shopping destinations near central Conroe.
The addition also reflects the continued growth of drive-thru coffee and specialty beverage options across Montgomery County, where residents increasingly have more choices beyond traditional coffeehouse menus.
How Dutch Bros Grew From an Oregon Coffee Cart
Dutch Bros was founded in 1992 by brothers Dane and Travis Boersma in Grants Pass, Oregon. The company began with a pushcart and an espresso machine before expanding throughout the Pacific Northwest and eventually into markets across the country.
The company began serving Texas customers in 2021 as part of its expansion into the Southeast. As of March 31, 2026, Dutch Bros reported operating 1,177 locations across 25 states, making it one of the fastest-growing quick-service beverage brands in the United States.
Despite that national growth, the company continues to center its shops around fast drive-thru service and friendly interactions between customers and employees, who are commonly called “broistas.”
Coffee, Rebels and Highly Customizable Drinks
Dutch Bros is known for offering a broader beverage lineup than a traditional coffee shop. Its menu includes espresso drinks, cold brew, blended Freeze drinks, chai, teas, lemonades, smoothies, shakes, sparkling sodas and hot chocolate.
One of the brand’s most recognizable products is the Dutch Bros Rebel, a proprietary energy drink that can be ordered iced or blended and customized with numerous flavor combinations. Sugar-free versions are also available.
Customers can adjust sweetness levels, flavors, milk choices and toppings, including the company’s signature Soft Top. Dutch Bros also offers espresso, decaffeinated espresso, white coffee, cold brew and nitrogen-infused cold brew, helping customers build drinks around their preferred flavor and caffeine level.
That ability to personalize nearly every beverage has helped Dutch Bros develop a loyal following among both coffee drinkers and customers who prefer fruit-flavored, sparkling or energy-based drinks.
A Drive-Thru Designed for Quick Conroe Stops
The planned combination of drive-thru and walk-up service could be particularly useful at the West Davis Street location, where customers may be stopping before work, during school-day errands or while visiting nearby stores and services.
Because the project involves adapting an existing end-cap storefront, the new Dutch Bros would also add another active tenant to Crossroads Shopping Center without requiring a new standalone building.
For nearby residents, the development represents a relatively small commercial renovation, but one that could add a recognizable and frequently requested beverage brand to a well-traveled Conroe corridor.
What Happens Next
Interior renovation work is expected to continue into spring 2027, based on the current project timeline. Residents can expect more details about hiring, operating hours and an opening celebration as the project moves closer to completion.
Once open, the West Davis Street shop would give Conroe two Dutch Bros locations and provide another locally convenient option for drive-thru coffee, customized energy drinks, lemonades and blended beverages.
