'Shop ‘til You Drop' Returns to the Berry Center: Cy-Fair Women’s Club Continues Tradition of Giving and Community Connection

August 06 2025

One of Cypress’ most beloved community traditions is back: the Cy-Fair Women’s Club’s “Shop ‘til You Drop” marketplace will return to the Berry Center of Northwest Houston (877 Barker Cypress Rd.) on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.. Admission and parking are free, making it the perfect day to shop, discover unique finds, and give back to the community.

A Tradition That Started Small

“Shop ‘til You Drop” first launched in the late 1990s as a small craft show held during CWC’s monthly meetings. Over the years, it has grown into a major regional event, hosting over 275 vendors and welcoming more than 5,500 shoppersannually. Today, it’s a one-day shopping experience unlike any other, featuring women’s and children’s clothing, jewelry, home décor, handmade goods, specialty foods, and one-of-a-kind artisan products.

The event also includes a nonprofit section, where guests can meet local charitable organizations, learn how to get involved, and see firsthand how “Shop ‘til You Drop” proceeds come full circle back into the community.

Why This Marketplace Matters

“Shop ‘til You Drop” is not just a shopping trip—it’s the Cy-Fair Women’s Club’s largest annual fundraiser. Proceeds support local nonprofit organizations and fund student scholarships, helping the next generation of Cy-Fair leaders achieve their dreams.

In the past year alone, CWC:

  • Distributed $65,000 to community causes and nonprofits

  • Awarded 35 $1,000 student scholarships

  • Donated 600+ Pillow Pals to comfort cancer patients

  • Delivered 4,625 boxes of mac and cheese to Cy-Fair Helping Hands and MESA Outreach

  • Supported 34 nonprofit organizations through funding and hands-on service

The club also provided a $10,000 donation to the Tunnel to Towers Veteran Village in Houston, further reflecting its commitment to service and community support.

Community Partners and Features

The event is known for bringing together not only shoppers and vendors but also community partners who add meaningful educational and interactive elements. In previous years, MD Anderson has presented a walk-through breast health display, while Kendra Scott donated 20% of booth sales back to CWC’s charitable efforts. Similar community-focused features are expected again this year, ensuring the event is about more than just shopping—it’s about learning, connecting, and giving back.
