Seven Lakes High School Seniors Sign After Competitive 2025 Football Season in District 19-6A
National Signing Day at Seven Lakes High School comes on the heels of another demanding season in one of Texas’ most competitive high school football districts.
Competing in District 19-6A — often referred to locally as the “All-Katy ISD” district — the Spartans faced a schedule stacked with familiar rivals including Katy, Tompkins, Cinco Ranch, Jordan, Paetow, Taylor and Morton Ranch. The 2025–2026 season tested depth and resilience week after week, with tight margins playing a role in district standings.
Seven Lakes closed the season with a narrow 10–9 loss to Morton Ranch in the finale, highlighting how closely matched district competition remained throughout the year.
Spartans Signing to the Collegiate Level
Against that backdrop, two senior football players formalized their next steps:
- Marcelo Goldberg (Football) — East Central University
- Peter Noonan (Football) — Lafayette College
Both athletes competed through the full district slate and now transition from UIL 6A football to the collegiate level, where roster spots are earned through consistent performance and academic readiness.

Their signings reflect the broader strength of Seven Lakes High School athletics — a program that routinely competes in deep playoff races across multiple sports and maintains high academic standards alongside athletic expectations.
“This is what commitment looks like,” Katy ISD Executive Director of Athletics Lance Carter said. “These student-athletes have put in the early mornings, the extra reps and the classroom work. Signing Day is more than a ceremony — it is the reward for years of discipline and the beginning of an exciting new chapter.”
What National Signing Day Means for Seven Lakes Families
For Seven Lakes families in Katy and the surrounding area, National Signing Day serves as both recognition and reflection. Competing in District 19-6A requires year-round preparation, and seniors who advance to college programs represent the cumulative effort of coaches, teammates and support systems at home.
As offseason conditioning begins and underclassmen prepare for spring football activities, this senior class leaves behind experience gained in one of Texas’ toughest 6A districts — and a visible example of what sustained commitment can produce.
