Scoops Ice Cream Brings Handmade Sweets and Candy Wonderland to Fulshear Near Cross Creek Ranch
The beloved Georgia-born dessert destination Scoops Ice Cream is making its Texas debut with a new location coming soon to Fulshear, just minutes from Cross Creek Ranch. Known for its whimsical charm and indulgent offerings, Scoops is more than just an ice cream shop—it's a full-fledged candy and confectionery experience for all ages.
The new store will open in Marcel Gardens Building D, located at 6601 Skyline Drive, Suite 200, Fulshear, TX 77441 in Fort Bend County. With a construction start date of May 19, 2025, and expected completion by the end of July 2025, the 1,450-square-foot buildout will transform an empty core and shell into a sugar-lover’s paradise.
From a “Someday” Dream to Sweet Success
Scoops began more than two decades ago as the dream of Susan Kirk, a former retail buyer for Macy’s and WH Smith. Her vision came to life in Madison, Georgia, a storybook small town that had everything—except an ice cream shop. Determined to offer only the “best of the best,” Susan curated a menu of homemade, small-batch ice cream and premium sweets that would become a local sensation. Today, with 16 stores across Georgia, the Fulshear location marks Scoops’ first venture into the Lone Star State.
