Remington Ranch to Host 2025 National Night Out with Deputies, Firefighters, and Family Fun
Mark your calendars and get ready to connect with your neighbors—National Night Out 2025 is coming to Remington Ranch on Tuesday, October 7, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The event will take place at a central location in the neighborhood and is hosted by the Remington Ranch Board of Directors, with support from Crest Management.
This year’s event promises to be both meaningful and fun for the entire family. Local residents will have the chance to meet Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office Deputies and members of the Aldine Fire Department, making it an ideal opportunity to build connections with the first responders who serve the community daily.
To sweeten the evening, the Kona Ice Truck will be on site offering free snow cones, and kids can enjoy free balloon art as part of the festivities. Please note: the pool will be closed for swimming during the event, so families are encouraged to dress comfortably and focus on community fun.

What Is National Night Out?
Launched in 1984 by the National Association of Town Watch, National Night Out (NNO) is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. It's held across the United States and U.S. territories on the first Tuesday in August—except in Texas and other southern states, where it’s observed in October to accommodate cooler weather.
NNO began as a simple idea: turn on your porch lights, step outside, and meet your neighbors. Over the years, it has grown into a nationwide initiative with millions of participants across more than 17,000 communities. From block parties and cookouts to safety fairs and youth activities, National Night Out events help foster safer, more caring places to live.
