REMINDER: Copperfield Dolphin Swim Team Announces 2024 Season
Registration for the Copperfield Dolphin summer swim team will open March 1st!
The Copperfield Dolphins is a not-for-profit summer swim team open for boys and girls from ages 4 to 18 years old who live in the Copperfield subdivision of Houston, Texas. As one of the oldest swim teams in the area (est. in 1980) they emphasize the teaching of sound competitive swimming skills, good sportsmanship, the promotion of individual improvement, having a good time with friends and building a sense of community.
Membership is open to residents of the 7 Copperfield Villages: Copperfield Place, Easton Commons, Middlegate, Northmead, Southcreek, Southdown, and Westcreek. If you are not a resident of the Copperfield Villages as described, you can still be a Copperfield Dolphin by paying an additional out-of-boundaries fee during registration.
Practices take place at Park Falls pool or Autumn Laurel pool in Southcreek Village. Practices occur daily beginning in mid-April with meets taking place on Saturdays in May-June. We also host several fun team events throughout the season: spirit nights, pep-rallies, Dolphin Dash swim-a-thin and more!!!
The team will host an information meeting for new families interested in joining on March 3rd from 5pm-6pm at the Autumn Laurel Park (7750 Autmn Laurel Trail). We also have sponsorship opportunities for businesses and individuals. Team Sponsorship is an ideal and cost-effective way to advertise your business to the local community. As a sponsor of the Copperfield Dolphins you will receive several advertisement opportunities. Your support is greatly appreciated and provides the youth in our community a chance to participate in swim team while keeping the cost affordable, so all children have the opportunity to join.
