Register Now for Nottingham Country Tidal Waves Swim Team: Open to New and Returning Swimmers
The Nottingham Country Tidal Waves Swim Team (NCST) is excited to welcome both returning and new families to the upcoming summer swim season. Open to swimmers ages 5 to 18, the team practices at the Mason Creek Community Pool on Kingsland Blvd. in Katy, TX, and participation is not limited to Nottingham Country residents.
A Competitive and Fun Summer Swim Experience
This year, NCST will compete in Division II of the WHALe Conference (West Houston Aquatic League), offering swimmers an opportunity to enhance their skills, compete in swim meets, and build lifelong friendships. Swimmers will develop proficiency in all four strokes—freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly—while learning valuable skills such as teamwork, sportsmanship, and self-discipline.

NCST is now accepting registrations for the 2025 summer swim season. Families can register their swimmers at ncsttidalwaves.swimtopia.com.

Second swimmer: $150

Each additional swimmer: $140

Swimmers ages 15-18: $65

Mandatory MUD fee per family: $15 (automatically added at checkout)

Practice Schedule for 2025
NCST swim practices are structured to accommodate all age groups and will follow separate afternoon and morning schedules:
Afternoon Practices (May 2 - May 21, 2025)
Monday – Friday (No practice on May 22)

4:30 – 5:00 PM: Ages 6 & under

5:00 – 5:45 PM: Ages 7 & 8

5:45 – 6:30 PM: Ages 9 & 10

6:30 – 7:15 PM: Ages 11 & 12

7:15 – 8:00 PM: Ages 13 & up
Morning Practices (Beginning May 27, 2025)
Tuesday – Friday (No practice on Memorial Day, May 26)

Note that Monday practices (after school lets out) will remain in the afternoon.
Meet the Coaches Event
Families are invited to meet the NCST coaching staff at a special Meet the Coaches event on April 13 at Rennie Park (located at 821 Rennie, Katy, TX 77450) from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the season.
