Olive Garden to Open New Tomball Location at The Grand at 249 in 2026
A household name in casual Italian dining, Olive Garden is preparing to bring its warm hospitality and beloved menu to the Tomball community. The restaurant chain has officially broken ground at 27651 Tomball Parkway, part of the bustling new retail hub known as The Grand at 249. The estimated $3.5 million construction project began in late January 2026 and is expected to be completed by mid-August 2026.
The 7,828-square-foot full-service Olive Garden will feature a fresh build complete with a new parking lot, landscaping, and utilities. It marks another big-name addition to The Grand at 249, a 65-acre mixed-use development strategically located at the intersection of Highway 249 and the Grand Parkway (SH 99). The Grand at 249 continues to attract major brands thanks to its proximity to high-growth residential communities such as Magnolia, Cypress, Spring, and Tomball.
For fans of the Olive Garden experience, the upcoming Tomball location will bring all the favorites: freshly baked breadsticks, house-made soups, endless salad bowls, and hearty entrees like Chicken Alfredo, Tour of Italy, and Five Cheese Ziti al Forno. The restaurant is known for providing generous portions, a family-friendly atmosphere, and classic Italian-American dishes.
