LIBRARY CLOSINGS
November 11 – Veterans’ Day
CHILDREN’S PROGRAMS
Craft packets will be given out at the end of each program, so that children may take them home to enjoy. Materials for these programs are made possible by the generous support of the Friends of the Bob Lutts Fulshear/Simonton Branch Library.
- Family Story Time – Tuesdays and Wednesdays - 10:30-11:00 am, Meeting Room. Families with children of all ages will enjoy stories, songs, and action rhymes. The schedule for November is as follows:
o November 1 and 2 – Forest Friends
o November 8 and 9 – Monkeys
o November 15 and 16 – Music & Dance
o November 22 and 23 – Family
o November 29 and 30 - Dinosaurs

After-School Breaks – 3rd Thursday at 4:30-5:30 pm -- Crafts, movies, stories for school-aged children in grades 1 through 5. The program on November 17 will be “Collaborative Art Day.” Students will work together as a group to create a masterpiece to be displayed in the library. Materials will be provided through the generous support of the Friends of the Bob Lutts Fulshear/Simonton Branch Library.
ADULT PROGRAMS

Day Readers Book Club – Monday, November 14, 12:00 noon, Meeting Room. The book to be discussed is The Mother-in-Law, a novel written by Sally Hepworth. This book is available in print and digitally as an ebook on OverDrive and as an e-audiobook on Hoopla; call the library to check availability of additional print copies. This book club meets on the second Monday of every month.

Nifty Needlers - Friday, November 18, 12:00 noon-1:30 pm, Meeting Room. Needlework enthusiasts of all experience levels who enjoy any type of crocheting, knitting, or sewing are invited to attend to get other needlecrafters’ perspectives, critiques, and suggestions. Those attending should bring their own yarn, strings, and needles to start or finish a project, while chatting, networking, and enjoying the company of fellow needlecrafters. The group meets on the 3rd Friday of every month.
