Nottingham Country Residents Invited to January 2026 HOA Board Meeting

January 05 2026

As Nottingham Country residents return to their routines after the holidays, the first Nottingham Country Community Association Board of Directors meeting of the new year is just around the corner—and it’s shaping up to be one of the most important ones yet.

Scheduled for Thursday, January 8, 2026 at the Mason Creek Community Center (20201 Kingsland Blvd, Katy, TX 77450), this regular meeting will begin with an Executive Session at 6:00 p.m., followed by a public General Session starting at 7:00 p.m. All Nottingham Country homeowners are encouraged to attend, especially those interested in how recent statewide legislation may affect neighborhood rules and community upkeep.

Why Residents Should Show Up

Several key issues are on the agenda that will directly impact homeowners in Nottingham Country:

New Policy Changes Tied to Texas Legislation

The board will review and vote on updates to collections procedures, ACC (Architectural Control Committee) guidelines, and perimeter security fence policies. These changes aim to bring community standards into compliance with new Texas HOA laws passed in 2025.

2026 Budget Approval

The board will present the proposed budget for 2026. This impacts how neighborhood dues are allocated toward improvements, maintenance, security, and beautification efforts.

Officer Elections and Governance

Board officer roles for 2026 will be determined. This is a great opportunity for residents to better understand who is making decisions and to engage in the leadership process.

Maintenance, Collections, and Community Projects

The agenda includes new maintenance proposals and updates on collections. Residents can expect updates on the alleyway, landscaping, and more from various committees.

Constable’s Report and Open Forum

As always, safety remains a priority. The meeting will include a constable report on local crime and safety trends in Katy’s Nottingham Country area. The Open Forum portion offers a chance for residents to voice questions, concerns, or suggestions directly to the board.

Whether you're new to the neighborhood or a longtime homeowner, attending the HOA meeting is a great way to stay informed, influence decisions, and meet fellow neighbors and board members.
