Nottingham Country Launches First Annual Holiday Food & Toy Drive to Support Local Families in Need
The holiday season is beginning with heart in Nottingham Country as the HOA teams up with HCESD 48 Fire Department to host the neighborhood’s first-ever Holiday Food and Toy Drive. The community-wide effort is underway now through November 24, with a mission to spread joy and provide essential support to children and families through trusted local organizations.
This year’s drive will benefit Texas Children’s Hospital, the Katy Elks Lodge, Katy Christian Ministries, and the Houston Food Bank—all well-known for their ongoing work serving those in need across the greater Katy area.
“There’s something really special about coming together as neighbors to do good,” said the Nottingham Country HOA Board. “We think this will become one of our favorite traditions. It’s simple, it’s meaningful, and it’s something every household can take part in.”
Two Ways to Donate
Residents have two easy ways to participate:
1. Porch Drop-Offs (Now through Nov. 24)
Community members can leave non-perishable food or new, unwrapped toys on the porch at any of the following locations:
2. Fire Truck Pick-Up – Monday, Nov. 25 from 4–5 PM
In a festive twist, HCESD 48 will send a fire truck rolling through the neighborhood with sirens and holiday cheer, collecting donations directly from residents. The fire truck will make its way through Nottingham Country, giving families a fun and memorable way to give back.

Giving That Goes Far
Donations will directly support multiple organizations with deep roots in the Katy community. From helping children in hospital care, to supporting local food programs and families facing hardship, each gift—big or small—can make a real impact.
Nottingham Country’s Holiday Food & Toy Drive not only fosters giving but reminds residents of the strength found in community. As neighbors prepare for the holidays, this initiative offers a beautiful way to celebrate what the season is truly about: compassion, togetherness, and hope.
