Editor's Note: This content was submitted to My Neighborhood News by the Nottingham Country Community Improvement Association (CIA).
Work will take place on the Fry Road and Kingsland Road esplanades over the next week.
What’s Being Removed
- Dead tree limbs
- Dead trees
- Diseased trees
Esplanade Facts
- The esplanades are owned by Harris County.
- Harris County only removes trees when they are completely dead (no vegetation, falling limbs, bark gone, etc.).
- The HOA has been the custodian for many years, handling irrigation, mowing, tree trimming, and brush work.
Why This Work Is Being Done
- To prevent damage from falling limbs
- To stop disease from spreading to nearby trees
Looking Ahead
- There are no current plans to replace removed trees.
- This can be a 2026 discussion with homeowners.
Working together to keep Nottingham Country a community we’re proud to call home.
