Nottingham Country 'Did You Know' HOA Community Communications Series: Tree Trimming and Removal Notice

Work will take place on the Fry Road and Kingsland Road esplanades over the next week.

What’s Being Removed

  • Dead tree limbs
  • Dead trees
  • Diseased trees

Esplanade Facts

  • The esplanades are owned by Harris County.
  • Harris County only removes trees when they are completely dead (no vegetation, falling limbs, bark gone, etc.).
  • The HOA has been the custodian for many years, handling irrigation, mowing, tree trimming, and brush work.

Why This Work Is Being Done

  • To prevent damage from falling limbs
  • To stop disease from spreading to nearby trees

Looking Ahead

  • There are no current plans to replace removed trees.
  • This can be a 2026 discussion with homeowners.
