Editor's Note: This content, Notice 2026.6, was submitted to My Neighborhood News by the Nottingham Country Community Improvement Association (CIA).
Dated January 6, 2026, the Harris County Precinct 5 Constable’s monthly report outlines law enforcement activity in Nottingham Country during December 2025, noting a decrease in calls for service, continued proactive patrols, and no major crime spikes reported.
Law Enforcement Overview
Harris County Precinct 5 Constable deputies responded to 552 total calls for service in Nottingham Country during January 2026, which is a decrease of approximately 18% over December with most of the calls being Contract Checks. The decrease can be attributed to the colder weather experienced during January.
Deputies maintained steady patrol coverage, strong community engagement, and reported no major crime spikes during the month.
Contract checks—routine proactive patrols—once again made up the largest portion of activity, with 460 patrols completed, helping deter crime and maintain safety.
