Nottingham Country CIA Greenlights Landscaping Upgrades, Tree Removals, and Irrigation Repairs
Residents of Nottingham Country can look forward to several landscaping improvements approved at the most recent HOA board meeting held on June 12, 2025. The Nottingham Country Community Improvement Association (CIA) continues to prioritize beautification and green space upkeep for the neighborhood.
Among the approved projects were multiple tree removals and stump grinding to address aging and hazardous trees. The board ratified a $2,080 estimate from Custom Scapes for tree removals, as well as an additional $310 for stump grinding along Houghton Drive. These actions are part of the community’s ongoing effort to maintain safety and enhance curb appeal.
Board members also approved up to $2,400 for irrigation repairs at Rennie Park. The damage, caused by CenterPoint activity, required immediate attention to keep park grounds healthy and accessible for resident use.

The Landscape Committee reported that 72 cubic yards of mulch have already been added at the park to refresh planting beds and improve soil health. The final landscaping task still pending is the removal of remaining tree stumps.
These updates follow a broader push by the HOA to maintain Nottingham Country as one of Katy’s most well-kept communities. As President John Wood emphasized during the meeting, such enhancements are crucial in protecting property values and ensuring green spaces remain welcoming for residents.
