Nottingham Country Announces Temporary Alleyway Closure on Bauxhall Court for Safety Repairs
Nottingham Country residents are being asked to plan for a temporary alleyway closure after a safety issue was identified between 310 and 314 Bauxhall Court. Nottingham Country CIA Board President John Wood shared the announcement on August 4, explaining that the closure will remain in place until a damaged concrete section can be fully repaired.
“The alleyway between 310 and 314 Bauxhall Court will be closed for an indefinite period of time while repairs are made to a section of concrete that has washed out,” said Wood. “The closing of this section is being done for safety reasons. Please do not drive around the barriers that will be placed in the next few days.”
The board does not yet have an exact timeline for when the work will be completed. “We do not know how long the work will take to be completed. We hope the work is completed by the end of August,” Wood noted.

Homeowners living in the area can be reassured that access to garages will not be affected. “Fortunately, no garages will be blocked during this time and homeowners have alternative access to their garages,” Wood explained.
Wood closed his message with gratitude, saying, “We appreciate your cooperation and understanding regarding the inconvenience during the construction period.”
Residents are encouraged to keep safety top of mind by avoiding the blocked area and respecting all posted barriers. For questions or concerns about the closure, residents may contact Phaedra Wudi, the community association manager with SBB Management serving Nottingham Country.
