New Master-Planned Community Near Cypress Set to Welcome First Occupants This Spring
A new master-planned community spanning across 248 acres near Cypress is set to welcome its first occupants this spring. Constructed by M/I Homes, Sorella will ultimately include 838 homes ranging in size from 1,295 to over 3,693 square feet.
Strategically located in northwest Houston, Sorella is located in Tomball between Hockley and Waller. The close proximity to Cypress facilitates easy access to primary routes and thoroughfares, such as the Grand Parkway, bridging the gap between Sorella, Katy, and the Woodlands area.

The community offers a diverse range of floor plans under the Smart Series, aimed at 40’ and 50’ homesites, and the Premier Smart Series, set on expansive half-acre homesites. Residents can choose from two distinct home types, fashioned with open-concept family rooms, spacious kitchens, flex rooms, and game rooms. Several structural options, such as a private study, a luxury owner's bathroom, and a first-floor guest suite, offer added flexibility and convenience.
The community offers an array of attractive amenities, including a resort-style pool, an open-air pavilion, and an event lawn.
