NCCIA Board of Directors Issue Town Hall Follow Up Information
To clarify and respond to the comments received after sharing the e-blast and Facebook post, the Board of Directors has discussed and provided the following information:
A town hall meeting is a public meeting where anyone can attend but an HOA meeting is an organized association that is private and only open to those within the HOA community. Therefore people can attend the town hall meeting from other neighborhoods and businesses. A town hall meeting is typically an informational meeting or question-and-answer meeting where no votes are taken. The information exchanged at town hall meetings is beneficial to inform those in attendance of details concerning matters of interest. This town hall area of interest pertains specifically to security.
Captain Mitch Hutter will be in attendance to take questions and hear any suggestions on how we can better serve the community. Also, Harris County Precinct 4, the office of Commissioner Lesley Briones will have two representatives, Community Engagement Coordinator, Victoria Calvillo and Trevor Nolley from their Policy team. Again, the town hall is being held due to all the security questions being asked at the HOA meetings where time is limited, can now be answered.
