Mason Creek Utility District Pool Schedule 2026: What Nottingham Country Families Need to Know This Summer

Mason Creek Utility District Pool Schedule 2026: What Nottingham Country Families Need to Know This Summer

June 01 2026

With summer in full swing and kids settling into their break from school, many Nottingham Country families are spending more time outdoors and looking for ways to beat the Texas heat. The Mason Creek Utility District (MCUD) pool continues to be a favorite neighborhood destination for swimming, relaxing, and connecting with friends throughout the season.

Whether you're planning regular afternoon swims, organizing a birthday celebration, or looking for a summer lifeguard job for a teenager, now is a good time to review the 2026 pool schedule, registration requirements, and important dates for the months ahead.

Pool Registration Required for Access

Residents planning to use the Mason Creek Community Center pool should make sure they have completed pool registration and obtained the necessary access credentials.

The Mason Creek Utility District provides a pool registration form online, and residents who have not yet registered can complete the process through the district's website.

Pool tags are available for purchase at the MCUD District Office Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Residents with questions about membership pricing can contact the district office at 281-578-7272

2026 Summer Pool Hours

The pool follows a seasonal schedule that changes throughout the summer and early fall.

Main Summer Schedule: May 27 Through August 9

Once local schools are out for summer break, the pool transitions to its regular summer operating schedule:

  • Monday: Closed for cleaning
  • Tuesday through Friday: Noon to 8 p.m.
  • Saturday: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Sunday: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • July 4: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Late Summer and Early Fall Schedule

Beginning Monday, August 10, the pool returns to weekends-only operations:

  • Saturday: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Sunday: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Labor Day (September 7): 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The 2026 season is scheduled to continue through September 27.

Important Swim Team and Early Closing Dates

Residents should be aware of several days when the pool will close earlier than normal due to swim team meets.

On June 22, pool hours will be limited to Noon until 4:30 p.m. because of a scheduled swim meet. Make-up dates, if needed, are scheduled for June 16 or June 23.

As always, pool availability may change due to weather conditions or scheduled activities.

Why Everyone Has to Exit the Pool Each Hour

Families visiting the pool may notice a brief interruption in swimming every hour.

MCUD conducts 10-minute breaks throughout the day so staff can monitor swimmers and test pool chemical levels. During these safety checks, guests must exit the water but may remain inside the facility until swimming resumes.

These routine breaks help maintain safe water conditions throughout the season.

Movie Nights Return to Mason Creek Pool

One of the most anticipated summer traditions is also back for 2026.

Pool Movie Nights are scheduled for:

  • June 12
  • July 10
  • August 14

Movies begin at 8 p.m. and continue until the film concludes.

These events provide a fun opportunity for neighbors to gather and enjoy an evening by the water after regular pool hours.

Planning a Summer Pool Party?

The Mason Creek pool complex is available for private pool parties from May through September, making it a popular option for birthdays, end-of-school celebrations, sports team gatherings, and neighborhood events.

Residents interested in reserving pool party space can request additional information by emailing parties@sweetwaterpoolsinc.com

Because summer weekends tend to fill quickly, families may want to inquire early about available dates.

What Nottingham Country Residents Should Know

For many Nottingham Country families, the Mason Creek pool is more than a place to cool off. It's where neighbors connect, children spend summer afternoons with friends, and families create lasting memories close to home.

Before heading out, residents should confirm their registration status, make sure pool tags are up to date, and keep the seasonal schedule handy as operating hours change throughout the summer and into early fall.
