2022 ANNUAL MEETING - APRIL 21ST AT 6:30 PM

Unfortunately, due to COVID, the 2021 Southcreek Village Annual meeting was moved from the springtime to fall. This made it more difficult to obtain CFISD facility reservations and we could not give residents the opportunity to pick up their pool wristbands at the annual meeting when it was held in the fall. So, we have decided to move the Annual meeting back into the springtime starting in 2022.

2022 Southcreek Annual Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, April 21, 2022 at Aragon Middle School. Sign in will start at 6pm. and the meeting will begin at 6:30 PM.

Southcreek Village Residents will have the opportunity to pick up 2022 Pool wristbands at this meeting.

Attending this meeting is a great way to find out what is going on in the Southcreek neighborhood. We will have a representative from the Sheriff’s Department. A financial report on Southcreek HOA will be given. The various committees associated with Southcreek will also be giving reports, such as Pool and Parks and the Architectural Review Committee.

Once you receive your proxy in the mail, it is very important that if you are not coming to the meeting that you turn in your proxy to the Southcreek Community Association or turn in to a Southcreek Homeowner who is attending the meeting. According to our by-laws, we must have 10% of the membership of our community represented either in person at the meeting or by proxy. Without the 10% representation, we cannot conduct this meeting.

Please note: The plans for the Annual Meeting are contingent on what is going on with the COVID virus. There will be more information on TownSQ.

GARAGE SALE - APRIL 30TH

The Spring Southcreek Village Garage Sale is scheduled for Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 7 AM-2 PM.

Southcreek Community Signs will go up on Sunday, April 24th advertising the event. Information will also be posted on Town Square and on the Southcreek Marquees.

Participating Residents are also welcome to put up signs. Please make sure that these additional signs should be removed by 4 PM on April 30th.

It is recommended that everyone continue to follow CDC guidelines. Please wear a mask and maintain social distance of 6ft.

GFL ACCOUNTS

Please remember, if you have not already done so, to set up your account with GFL, the trash company that purchased WCA last year.

You must set up a new account, even if you had one previously and every owner must set up an account or you may experience a loss of service.

Here is information on how to transfer:

  • Please note that current standing automatic payment methods, including Autopay and eBilling, will not automatically transfer to GFL.
  • To re-enroll in automatic payments and manage your GFL account, you will need to create a login for our online customer portal, MyAccount, at myaccount.gflenv.com. You will be able to do this starting July 1, 2021. Please note that you will not be able to link your account before this date. More information and step-by-step setup guidelines can be found on our website at gflenv.com/creating-your-myaccount/.
  • You have been provided with an expanded account number which is located at the top of the invoice enclosed with this letter. This account number will appear on all future invoices and can be used to create your new online account at myaccount.gflenv.com.
  • Once you’re set up in MyAccount, you’ll be able to easily manage your services, billing and payment preferences. If you have urgent questions regarding your balance, please contact your local GFL branch.

There is an email address, specifically for Copperfield, that you can use to contact them for any questions or concerns - ccca@gflenv.com.

BLOCK CAPTAINS

Do you want to know what’s going on in your neighborhood? BE A BLOCK CAPTAIN!

Block captains receive emails for the Block Captain Chairman, Bryne Liner. The emails let you know what’s going on in our neighborhood.

We ask that once the Block captains receive an email, they pass the information on to the other neighbors on their street.

Being a Block captain requires a relatively small amount of time, but the block captain plays a very important role in our community.

If you would like information about who your block captain is or would like to be a block captain, you can contact Bryne Liner at bryneliner@gmail.com.

DEED RESTRICTION LETTERS

Please help maintain Southcreek Village’s property values!

To ensure the aesthetic integrity of Southcreek Village is being maintained, periodic site inspections are performed by PMG each month.

If you happen to receive a deed restriction violation notice, please do not ignore it or disregard it. It is always best to reach out to the management company right away to let them know either that you have taken care of the violation, have plans to do so or are unable to do so right away. Please contact Katherine Follis with PMG at kfollis@pmghouston.com.

This communication is important because subsequent letters from the Association can result in additional costs for the homeowner for certified mail fees and even legal fees if the issue persists with no response.

Copies of Southcreek Village’s governing documents are posted on http://www.Townsq.io and on www.Copperfield.org.

This is a public forum where you can ask any questions or express any concerns to the Southcreek HOA Board. Attending Board meeting is a great way to know what is going on in our community.
