Greenhouse Road Bridge Expansion
The largest of the current projects is the $8.2 million Greenhouse Road Bridge construction over Cypress Creek. Expected completion is set for the second quarter of 2025.
Goforth Park Drainage Innovation
A $3.5 million pilot program at Goforth Park's detention pond is implementing innovative water management solutions. The enhancement includes a pump flow system designed to lower pond water levels before storms, increasing the pond's capacity to handle storm water. This forward-thinking project is scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2025.
Mound Road Extension Progress
The $2.2 million Mound Road Extension Phase II project is creating new connectivity from Greenhouse Road to the former Hot Wells shooting range. The extension, which begins 850 feet east of Greenhouse Road, will provide additional capacity and improved drainage. Construction is expected to wrap up in the third quarter of 2025.
