Lytle ISD Celebrates the Class of 2026 as More Than 120 Graduates Cross the Stage

June 03 2026

For the graduates of Lytle High School, May 29 marked more than the end of a school year—it marked the culmination of years of hard work, perseverance and community support. As more than 120 seniors walked across the stage at the Lytle ISD football stadium, family members, friends, educators and residents came together to celebrate a milestone that reflects both individual achievement and the future of the Lytle community.

The graduation ceremony for the Lytle High School Class of 2026 filled the stadium with pride as graduates received their diplomas and prepared to take the next step in their educational, professional and personal journeys. For many families, the evening represented years of dedication, while for the community it served as a reminder of the role local schools play in shaping future leaders, professionals and engaged citizens.

Academic Excellence Takes Center Stage

Among the highlights of the ceremony was the recognition of the school's Top 10 academically ranked seniors. Honored for their academic achievements were:

  • Isabella Sewell
  • Klayre Cook
  • Annika Robles
  • Gabriela Cortez
  • Koby Lara
  • Frances Scotello
  • Karyme Cabrera
  • Diego Reyna
  • Taryn McDonald
  • Lucas Salazar

Valedictorian Isabella Sewell and Salutatorian Klayre Cook addressed their classmates during the ceremony, reflecting on the accomplishments and experiences that defined their high school years and encouraging fellow graduates as they begin new chapters.

P-TECH Graduates Earn College Degrees Before High School Graduation

A particularly notable achievement celebrated during the ceremony was the success of students participating in Lytle High School's Pathways to Technology Early College High School (P-TECH) program.

Through the district's partnership with St. Philip's College, several students earned associate degrees while simultaneously completing their high school education—an accomplishment that can provide a significant head start on future academic and career goals.

Students recognized for earning associate degrees included:

  • Auslyn Beazer
  • Karyme Cabrera
  • Koby Lara
  • Samuel Muraira
  • Isabella Reyes
  • Kaden Stoddard

Programs such as P-TECH continue to gain attention across Texas for helping students graduate with college credentials, workforce skills and reduced future education costs, creating opportunities that can benefit both students and their families.

A Ceremony Filled With Tradition and Community Pride

The ceremony featured several student leaders who helped guide the evening's events. Jonathan Massiate delivered the invocation, while Co-Class Presidents Frances Scotello and Giselle Esparza provided opening and closing remarks.

As graduates turned their tassels and celebrated with classmates, the event reflected the strong support system that surrounds students throughout their educational journey. From teachers and counselors to parents, grandparents and community members, the evening highlighted the collective investment made in helping students succeed.

What This Means for the Lytle Community

Graduation ceremonies are more than celebrations of academic achievement. They also serve as milestones that reflect the strength of a community's educational system and its commitment to preparing young people for the future.

The accomplishments of the Class of 2026—from academic rankings to earning college degrees while still in high school—demonstrate the opportunities available through Lytle ISD and the dedication of students who have worked to take advantage of them.

As graduates head to colleges, universities, military service, trade programs and careers, they carry with them the experiences, relationships and lessons gained during their time in Lytle ISD.
