Lightbridge Academy Expands Footprint in Texas with New Day Care Center in Cypress

June 11 2024

Lightbridge Academy, an established name in early childhood education and childcare, continues to solidify its footprint in Texas with plans to open a new day care center in Cypress. The upcoming center, set to be constructed at 8742 Barker Cypress Road, aims to bring their top-tier educational services to working families in the region.

The Lightbridge Academy brand has exhibited exponential growth over recent years, striving towards its goal of operating 150 centers by 2025. The Cypress addition marks another stride in this ambitious objective, fueled by a surge in population and a heightened demand for quality childcare.

With a notable increase in children under the age of five in regions like Cypress, Lightbridge Academy seeks to fill a gap in the market to meet the rising demand. Lightbridge's unique approach is rooted in innovative provisions including real-time technology which allows parents to stay connected to their child's daily routine, advanced security features, and the Lightbridge Promise initiative, a commitment to health and safety introduced in 2020.

The new Cypress center's construction, according to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, is set to begin at the start of August 2024 with completion projected for April 2025. The facility will span an expansive 14,000 square feet, ensuring ample space to cultivate an enriching and safe learning environment for children.

Lightbridge Academy's commitment to 'the Circle of Care' philosophy underlines their dedication towards children, families, the community, and their franchise owners. With plans for further expansion in Cypress, Woodlands, Atascocita, and Pearland, along with recent expansions in Katy, Lightbridge continues to work toward their goal of creating a network of centers devoted to delivering the highest quality of early education and care to Texas families.
