Life Time Coming to Richmond's Harvest Green with $44.5M Athletic Country Club
A new era of health and wellness is on the horizon for Fort Bend County. Life Time, the premier operator of luxury athletic country clubs, is bringing its signature holistic approach to healthy living to Richmond's Harvest Green community.
Scheduled to kick off in early January 2026, the new Life Time Harvest Green location will rise at 18819 W. Airport Blvd, Richmond, TX 77406 and is slated for completion by October 2027. With an estimated construction cost of $44.5 million and a massive 100,110-square-foot footprint, the facility will be a state-of-the-art fitness and lifestyle destination — tailored to serve every member of the family.
A Club Designed for Every Age and Lifestyle
Much more than a traditional gym, the new Life Time Harvest Green will feature an impressive blend of amenities designed to support every aspect of a healthy lifestyle. Plans include indoor and outdoor pools, multiple fitness studios, retail spaces, a two-hour babysitting service, and a Kids Academy offering enrichment programs and activities. Members can also unwind in Life Time’s spa-like LT Recovery space or dine at one of the two onsite LifeCafe food service areas.
The club is being developed with Richmond’s rapidly growing community in mind — a reflection of Life Time’s mission to serve people from 90 days old to 90+ years, through fitness, education, entertainment, and connection.

A Holistic Health Vision with Deep Roots
Founded in 1992 by Bahram Akradi, Life Time (NYSE: LTH) began as a bold reimagining of what health clubs could be — immersive lifestyle destinations focused on holistic wellness. From a single location in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, the company has grown into a leading wellness brand with more than 185 athletic country clubs across the U.S. and Canada.
Over the years, Life Time has cultivated a devoted member base of 1.4 million people and created a wellness ecosystem that spans physical clubs, AI-powered health coaching apps, nutritional supplements, wellness events, co-working spaces (Life Time Work), and even residential communities (Life Time Living).
Today, Life Time employs over 49,000 team members and operates more than 780 pickleball courts, 500 pools and spas, 160 LifeCafes, and 150 Kids Academy locations — all part of a comprehensive, community-centered approach to living well.
Growing Alongside Richmond and Fort Bend County
The arrival of Life Time in Richmond reflects the ongoing growth and demand for high-quality lifestyle services in Fort Bend County — one of the fastest-growing counties in Texas. Harvest Green, known for its family-friendly environment and emphasis on sustainability and community wellness, is a fitting match for Life Time’s mission.

From morning yoga and kids’ classes to swimming laps and grabbing a post-workout smoothie, Life Time Harvest Green is positioned to become a hub of connection, health, and vitality for years to come.
Stay tuned for updates as construction progresses and opening day approaches. As plans take shape, the new facility is expected to bring fresh opportunities for fitness and connection to the Richmond community.
