Lamar Consolidated ISD Hosts College, Career, Military, and Readiness Night and Course Carnival Night

October 02 2024

Lamar Consolidated ISD is excited to support students on their academic journeys with two upcoming events designed to connect them with valuable resources and opportunities. The annual College, Career, Military, and Readiness (CCMR) Night and the Course Carnival Night aim to empower students and their families as they explore educational paths and career options.

College, Career, Military, and Readiness Night

Students and their families are invited to attend College, Career, Military, and Readiness Night on Tuesday, October 8, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Lamar Consolidated High School, located at 4606 Mustang Ave, Rosenberg, TX 77471. This annual event welcomes all secondary students to engage with college and military representatives, gaining insights into their various options. Students will also have the opportunity to speak with scholarship organizations, ensuring they understand how to finance their educational pursuits.

Attendees can participate in several academic breakout sessions that cover important topics tailored to their future goals. Whether considering college, military service, or vocational training, students will find the guidance they need to make informed decisions.

At the Course Carnival, students will have the chance to explore high school electives, including Career & Technical Education, Fine Arts, Dual Credit, Advanced Academics, and Multilingual Education.
