Lamar CISD Announces District-Wide Closure for Tuesday, January 16

According to a release from Lamar Consolidated ISD today, school and all scheduled activities within the District have been cancelled for Tuesday, January 16.
In addition, as a result of the anticipated precipitation this evening, all scheduled activities for today have been cancelled.
The District urges parents and guardians to watch for additional updates from campuses and/or program coordinators, as well as local weather outlets. Lamar CISD officials indicated that weather conditions will continue to be monitored and a decision about school operations for Wednesday, January 17 will be determined by Tuesday afternoon. The District will continue to provide updates as necessary through Skylert, the Lamar CISD website, and District social media accounts.
