The Grayson Lakes Neighborhood Garage Sale returns Saturday, October 3, giving residents a chance to clear out closets, garages and storage spaces while opening the neighborhood to shoppers looking for secondhand finds, household goods, furniture, clothing, toys, books and more.
From 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., participating Grayson Lakes households will set up sales from their driveways throughout the community. Residents can join in even at the last minute, while visitors from the surrounding area are welcome to drive through the neighborhood and browse participating homes.
There will be no advance list of participating addresses or items for sale, and no Friday night pre-sale, so shoppers should plan to explore the neighborhood Saturday morning and see what they discover along the way.
Residents participating as sellers are asked to keep displays on their driveways so neighborhood streets remain clear and to manage their own pricing, transactions and merchandise.
There will also be no donation truck or scheduled donation pickup after the event, so sellers should plan ahead for any items that remain unsold.
The garage sale will be promoted at neighborhood entrances and on social media, and residents are encouraged to spread the word to friends, family and anyone searching for a neighborhood garage sale or weekend bargain hunting in the Katy area.
