Lakes on Eldridge Reminds Residents of Vehicle Rules Designed to Protect Community Safety and Neighborhood Appearance
As families spend more time outdoors this spring and summer, Lakes on Eldridge management is reminding residents about important vehicle restrictions and community safety rules aimed at preserving both neighborhood appearance and resident safety throughout the community.
The reminder comes as Lakes on Eldridge continues efforts to maintain safe streets, protect common areas, and uphold the standards that help make the neighborhood an attractive place to live for homeowners and families alike.
Under the Association’s governing documents, all vehicles within the community must be properly registered and in operable condition. Inoperative vehicles and similar vehicles are not permitted unless they are properly stored out of public view.
Residents are also reminded that vehicles may not be stored or left parked in the same location on streets or driveways for extended periods, as outlined in the community Declaration.
Community leaders say the rules are intended not only to maintain neighborhood standards, but also to reduce safety concerns and help preserve shared spaces throughout Lakes on Eldridge.
Recreational Vehicles Not Permitted on Community Streets or Common Areas
For the safety of residents, recreational and non-standard vehicles — including dirt bikes, ATVs, go-carts, and similar vehicles — are not permitted to operate on community streets, grassy areas, or common spaces.
The policy is designed to help prevent damage to community property while also protecting pedestrians, children playing outdoors, cyclists, and residents enjoying neighborhood amenities.
As warmer weather brings more outdoor activity across Houston-area neighborhoods, many HOAs and master-planned communities continue emphasizing safety measures intended to reduce accidents and preserve community infrastructure.
Enforcement Measures May Include Fines
The Association noted that it has the authority to enforce these rules in accordance with governing documents and applicable enforcement policies. Violations may result in enforcement action, including fines.
Management is encouraging residents to work together in supporting a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment throughout Lakes on Eldridge.
Residents with questions regarding vehicle policies or enforcement procedures can contact management at 903-224-6721 or by email at Angela.Morin@RISEAMG.COM.
What Happens Next
Community management says ongoing enforcement and resident cooperation will continue to play an important role in maintaining neighborhood safety and protecting shared community spaces heading into the busy summer season.
