Kids & Kritters Winter Camp at CAP Winding Down
There are still two activities that kids can enjoy at CAP's Kids & Kritters program this week! Check out more about this engaging camp program below.
What makes our camps special?
At CAP Kids Camps we learn a lot about our furry guests, what they eat, how they live, and the challenges they face. We discover what makes each animal special and why it matters how we treat them. Kids are empowered to find out how they can help companion pets and wildlife and are encouraged to critically think about their role in caring, protecting, and respecting all creatures, great and small.
Our camps are solid humane education programs that incorporate science, technology, and art. Games, crafts, and hands-on animal interactions make each day fun and help children to develop a positive and respectful attitude towards all living beings. Camps are kept small so that each child gets quality time with the various animal guests. We typically interact with our animal guests for about half of our 4 hour daily schedule.

About CAP
Citizens for Animal Protection is a non-profit organization, founded in 1972, which shelters, rescues and places homeless animals for adoption with loving families. CAP advocates respect and compassion for animal life and provides humane education to help prevent cruelty to animals.
CAP speaks for those who cannot speak for themselves through the following programs and services: Shelter & Care; Pet Adoption; Spaying & Neutering; Pet Care Counseling; Lost & Found Pets; Feral Cat Assistance Program; Pets for Seniors; Humane Education; and Pet Supply Shop.
CAP offers a range of vital services. But, of course, these services cost money. Your tax-deductible contribution to Citizens for Animal Protection is one of the most satisfying and worthwhile investments you can make for pets and people. Your dollars can mean the difference between life and death for an animal in trouble. Please help us save just one pet or more. In return you get a really good feeling inside. And that, we believe, is the Greatest Dividend of all.
