Kelsey-Seybold Clinic Announces Expansion of West Grand Parkway Clinic in Katy
Kelsey-Seybold Clinic has unveiled plans for an impressive expansion with the construction of West Campus, set to be a five-story, 125,000-square-foot medical facility. Situated alongside Kelsey-Seybold's existing West Grand Parkway Clinic in Katy, the new addition is slated for completion in fall 2024. Upon finishing, both the new building and the existing clinic will collectively bear the name Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – West Campus.
The primary objective of this expansion is to deliver broader services in primary and specialty care to the residents of Katy. The new facility will house a state-of-the-art radiology suite and plans are underway to incorporate an ambulatory surgery center. With an impressive capacity to accommodate over 77 providers across various specialties, West Campus is sure to significantly enhance patient experience and care.
This ambitious expansion builds on Kelsey-Seybold Clinic's steadfast commitment to delivering quality, value-based care to the Katy community. The clinic has expressed gratitude for the unwavering support it has received from the patients and communities it serves, acknowledging that this has played a pivotal role in fueling this project.
West Campus is more than a physical expansion; it represents an enhanced approach to healthcare delivery. The campus will facilitate access to coordinated, evidence-based care right from the Grand Parkway. It will provide comprehensive adult and pediatric primary care and will introduce new specialties such as Allergy, Audiology, Behavioral Medicine, Neurology, Otolaryngology (ENT), Palliative Care, Plastic Surgery, Rheumatology, Spine Center, Surgery, and Urology. Furthermore, additional practitioners will be available in Family Medicine, General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Gastroenterology, Cardiology, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Optometry, and Urology.
“We’ve had the privilege of serving the Katy area for many years and are delighted to offer our patients access to more care and service options,” said Kenneth Janis, chief operating officer, Kelsey-Seybold Clinic.
This new facility, in addition to offering a wide range of medical services, also will provide ancillary services such as an on-site Kelsey Pharmacy, laboratory, and diagnostic imaging services including MRI, CT, ultrasound, stereotactic breast biopsy, and future nuclear medicine services. The West Campus is projected to open its doors in the coming months, ushering a new era of patient care and service delivery in Katy.
