"My inspiration for MedRight stemmed from witnessing the confusion and frustration that patients often experience with medical billing. Both personal experiences with family members and professional observations of patients facing unexpected costs and denied claims motivated me to create a solution," she said. "I knew I could use my knowledge and experience to help people navigate this complex system and advocate for their rights."

Inspired by her father’s words, "Someone has to do it. So, who better than yourself?" she took on the challenge of founding MedRight.
A Personal and Professional Commitment
Beyond her role as a healthcare entrepreneur, Severin is also a wife and mother, balancing the demands of her business with her family life. She and her husband, Nathaniel, have been married for nearly 15 years and moved to Katy in 2021 with their two children, Jackson and Harper.
"Balancing life as a business owner, wife, and mother is certainly challenging, but I have an incredibly supportive family. My husband is my rock, and my children are my biggest cheerleaders," Severin shared. She emphasized that her family is not only her motivation but also a key factor in her decision to build a business that serves the community she loves.
