Katy ISD School Board Election Voting Begins April 22

It’s election time! This year, voters have the opportunity to elect two Katy ISD Board of Trustees for Positions 6 and 7. Early voting will be conducted each weekday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. beginning Monday, April 22, 2024 and ending on Tuesday, April 30, 2024. A special Saturday early voting will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024. Election Day is May 4, 2024.

About the Katy ISD Board Election

The Katy ISD Board of Trustees has called for an election of Trustees to be held May 4, 2024. The Board is comprised of seven members who are elected at-large to fill available positions. In accordance with the provisions of the Texas Education Code, a person may not be elected as a Trustee unless the person is a qualified voter.

An individual seeking election as a member of the Board of Trustees must have been a resident of the state for 12 months and a resident of the district six months prior to the last date on which the candidate could file to be listed on the ballot. The following persons have filed as candidates for the upcoming election and the information below has been provided by each. Candidates are listed alphabetically by position number.
