Katy Idol Finalists Prepare for Final Round in December
Get ready, music enthusiasts! The stage is set and four exceptional singers – Chris McCloskey, Josie Arias, Kimora Bowman, and Emma Bolling – are ready to steal the spotlight at the Katy Idol Finale.
These talented individuals have earned their place in the finale, and on this special evening, they will showcase their exceptional vocal prowess. Open auditions for Katy Idol began on August 12, leading up to the semifinals on November 11 and 25.
Chris McClockey, the sole male finalist for Katy Idol, has been influenced by musicians like Bill Withers and Prince. If he is selected as the Katy Idol winner, Chris stated that he would put the winnings in savings and try to get his music career off the ground.
Paetow High School graduate Kimora Bowman is thrilled to have the opportunity to audition for Katy Idol, which marks the first competition she has been a part of. She has enjoyed the experience of performing alongside other local talent.
Josie Arias has connected with other contestants throughout the competition and is eagerly anticipating the finals. She has been impressed by the local talent that has worked through the competition and looks forward to competing with them in December.
A member of local Christian band RPM Band, Emma Bolling is a recent graduate from Tompkins High School. The community within the Katy Idol completion has been a positive experience for her and she is grateful for the opportunity to compete.
The community is invited to Katy Vibes on December 16 at 7:00 PM to support these local musicians as they compete for the coveted $1,000 cash prize.
