Katy Home & Outdoor Living Show Celebrates 20th Anniversary January 10–11 at Merrell Center
The Katy Home & Outdoor Living Show is marking a major milestone in 2026: 20 years of bringing home inspiration, community connection, and expert advice to residents of Katy and Fulshear. Scheduled for January 10–11, 2026 at the Merrell Center, located at 6301 S Stadium Ln, Katy, TX 77494, this landmark 20th annual event invites homeowners and families to explore new ideas, gather resources, and connect with trusted local professionals.
Now rebranded from its original name, the Katy Home & Garden Show, this annual showcase has become one of the region’s most highly anticipated events for all things home improvement, lifestyle, and outdoor living.
Celebrating Two Decades of Community and Creativity
With two full days of engaging exhibits, free workshops, and local flavor, the 2026 Katy Home & Outdoor Living Show stays true to its roots while continuing to evolve with fresh trends. One of the weekend’s signature attractions is the Outdoor Living Showcase, presented by FirstService Credit Union. This immersive display brings the newest trends in backyard design to life—featuring grilling islands, patios, pergolas, and outdoor kitchens that can transform everyday spaces into personal retreats.
Green thumbs will appreciate the return of Charley Fisher’s spring gardening workshops at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. each day. Hosted by Urban Garden Plants, the two sessions—Just Add Water: A Spring Garden Starter Kit and The Beginner’s Guide to Spring Container Plants—will help attendees kickstart their spring plans with sustainable seed sowing tips and take-home materials.
The event also features a Spring Plant Sale benefiting the Brookwood Community, which empowers adults with disabilities through meaningful jobs and purpose-filled experiences. Plant lovers can shop with a purpose and get their gardens ready for the season.

Two Decades of Impact, One Weekend to Celebrate
The Katy Home & Outdoor Living Show is produced by RJC Productions, founded in 2005 by husband-and-wife team Robyn and Jeff Cade. With deep roots in Katy and a shared passion for community-centered events, the Cades have grown the show into a staple of the local calendar.
Robyn, originally from Florida, moved to Texas in 1998 and quickly found her calling in event production. Jeff, a Katy native and Sam Houston State alum, brought graphic design and digital expertise to the partnership. Together, they launched RJC Productions and hosted the very first Katy Home & Garden Show in 2007—now celebrating its 20th annual edition.

After relocating their family and business to New Braunfels in 2023, the Cades continue to expand their reach with new events in the Hill Country while keeping their signature Katy shows going strong.
Robyn reflects, “We’ve always focused on producing events that are both meaningful and fun. Our goal is to bring people together and help local companies connect with their communities.”
