Jersey Village Set to Light Up the Sky with 2025 July 4th Festival and Parade Celebration
One of Greater Houston’s most beloved Independence Day traditions returns this summer as Jersey Village prepares to host its annual July 4th Festival 2025—a high-energy, patriotic celebration filled with music, food, and fireworks. With festivities kicking off in the morning and stretching into the night, the event is free to attend and draws hundreds of families from across Northwest Houston.
The all-day celebration begins with the 2025 Jersey Village July 4th Parade, starting at 10:00 a.m. from the new city hall campus at 16518 Jersey Drive. Parade entries—decorated vehicles, floats, and community groups—are encouraged to register in advance, with judging beginning at 9:30 a.m. The top four entries will be recognized on the city website and receive a small prize. Registration is free and can be completed at Jersey Village Parade Sign-Up.
At 6:00 p.m., the main festival grounds open at Jersey Meadow Detention Pond (8502 Rio Grande St), welcoming guests to a community celebration filled with local food trucks, vendors, and kid-friendly activities.

This year’s live concert headliner is the Red NOT Chili Peppers, the nation’s premier tribute to the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Known for their energetic stage presence and authentic sound, the band is expected to bring an unforgettable performance to Jersey Village’s Independence Day stage. The concert will be immediately followed by the city’s signature fireworks show, one of the Top 5 Free Fireworks Shows in Houston for the past two years.
“Whether you're here for the music, the parade, or the fireworks, the July 4th Festival offers something for everyone,” said city organizers, who encourage attendees to bring lawn chairs, wear red, white, and blue, and arrive early to enjoy the full day’s events. The festival is made possible through community support, including major sponsorship by M/I Properties, allowing attendees to enjoy the festivities with free admission for all ages.
This annual Fourth of July tradition continues to grow as one of the best family-friendly things to do on Independence Day in Northwest Houston, especially for residents in Jersey Village, Cypress, and surrounding neighborhoods. With its small-town charm and big-stage celebration, the July 4th Festival is a shining example of community pride and patriotic spirit.
