ICYMI: Memorial Parkway HOA Seeks Board Candidates for 2025
The Memorial Parkway HOA is gearing up for its 2024 Annual Meeting of Members on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, where two Board of Director positions will be up for election. These positions are crucial for managing the affairs of our community and will begin their term on January 1, 2025. Each Director is elected for a three-year term, with the Board's five positions staggered to ensure continuity and fresh perspectives.
If you’re interested in contributing to the community and helping shape the future of Memorial Parkway, consider running for one of these volunteer Board positions. Board members are expected to attend monthly meetings, devote additional hours to Board projects, handle resident issues, and engage in various tasks such as answering emails and attending training sessions.
While these roles are unpaid, they offer a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in your neighborhood. To be included on the proxy/directed ballot, please notify the HOA office in writing by 5:00 PM on September 18, 2024. Nominations can also be made from the floor at the meeting, but candidates nominated this way must be present to confirm their willingness to serve.
Please note that Texas State Law prohibits individuals convicted of a felony or a crime involving moral turpitude in the last 20 years from serving on a subdivision association’s Board.
